About the Program
The Web Design Certification Program is a semester-long course offered by Rockland Adult & Community Education and is open to all in the mid-coast area. The class meets on Mondays from 5:30 - 8:30 PM for fifteen weeks in the McLain School Computer Lab.
The program has a comprehensive curriculum which thoroughly covers every basic aspect of web design. It is intended as a foundation for those that are interested in pursuing a career in web design, or for do-it-yourself-ers in businesses or organizations that would like to build and maintain their own successful web site. It is quite challenging, but also rewarding and a lot of fun.
